Hi All,
Brendan was up Friday morning for a good long while. He opened left eye and half opened right eye. He nodded at several pictures of family and at siblings. He even seemed to nod that he wanted to be read to a couple of times.
He does sleep most of his days, so it was great to see him so active.
He was moved to the room mentioned on this blog, now updated (see above) Friday evening. That wore him out! He has been sleeping since then. The nurses assure us sleep is good. One said that Brendan is "running a marathon" every few days, so needs some days to rest. He keeps moving the left arm (no mean feat as it has a cast on it) and kicking that left leg.
It will be a long journey, but he keeps doing what he needs to do.

So glad to here Brendan continues to make improvements. Please tell him his garden is producing vegetables. His sunflowers have mature seeds in them and the birds love them. Prayers coming to you all. Brenda and neighbors Beagle Lane NC
