From his brother, Donovan:

 "Today was a good day for Brendan: plenty of talking again (mostly 1-word names or hi or bye, but a few good short sentences too). Got his trach out today...At one point I told him he has a cast on his arm and he said "I feel it"...Big improvement on his affected side (wiggling toes on request)."
